Bio

Eun-Jeong Han (Ph.D. in Communication, Washington State University) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at 黑料网. Her research interests include 1) global migration and diaspora, 2) diversity and inclusion/exclusion, 3) identity construction and negotiation, 4) heritage language learning and use, 3) Asians/Asian Americans in the U.S., and 5) Korean pop cultures.
At 黑料网, Eun-Jeong (EJ) teaches various courses in the area of Communication Studies, including Intercultural Communication, Nonverbal Communication, Business and Professional Communication, Introduction to Human Communication, Senior Seminar, Communication Research, and Advanced Communication Theory.
Eun-Jeong (EJ) received the 2020 Outstanding Book Award from the Asian Pacific American Communication Studies Division of the NCA (National Communication Association) for her co-edited book, Korean Diaspora across the World: Homeland in History, Memory, Imagination, Media and Reality. She is currently working with the same co-editors on a second edited volume, Displacement, Mobility, and Diversity in Korea: Diaspora within Homeland.
