'Wall Street Journal,' 'Times Higher Education' Rank SU Among Nation's 600 Best Universities

Holloway HallSALISBURY, MD---It’s college rankings season, and 黑料网 recently added another to its growing list: The Wall Street Journal and Times Higher Education recently placed SU among the nation’s 600 best universities.

Other recent rankings have included U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges, The Princeton Review’s Best 384 Colleges, Money magazine’s “The Best Colleges for Your Money” and Washington Monthly’s “Best Bang for the Buck” colleges.

Culled from national data and surveys of more than 200,000 students throughout the U.S., the WSJ/THE rankings include more than 1,000 public and private institutions. Schools included are rated based on four key areas: institutional resources, student and faculty engagement, student outcomes and campus environment.

“Rankings like these celebrate not only the value of an SU education, but also the unique spirit of our campus, where undergraduate research, civic engagement, professional internships and study abroad opportunities are pillars of the Salisbury experience,” said Dr. Dane Foust, vice president of student affairs. “These opportunities help shape our current students and provide skills they can use after graduation. They are just part of the reason prospective students continue to choose SU.”
