SU Hosts Virtual Homecoming Events
SALISBURY, MD---While events may look a bit different in a virtual setting, Alumni Homecoming Week at 黑料网 will still allow former and current Sea Gulls to come together and celebrate their Alma Mater.
Events begin Monday, October 19, with a virtual welcome from President Charles Wight, as he invites alumni across the nation and around the world to participate in the virtual events. On Tuesday, October 20, Wight offers his thanks to SU alumni who have returned to or remained on campus as faculty and staff.
SU athletics fans can take a walk down memory lane on Wednesday, October 21, with the “Remember When … From Maggs to Sea Gull Stadium and Beyond,” a look at the transformation of indoor and outdoor athletic facilities. Throughout the week, video profiles will be released highlighting the seven inductees of the SU Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2020.
Reunions are the cornerstone of Alumni Homecoming Week, and 2020 will be no different, with a virtual reunion for those who graduated in years ending in 0 and 5. The 7 p.m. event includes a University update, and individual class graduates will be able to move into breakout “rooms” to visit with their classmates. Those in attendance also have an opportunity to win an SU gift basket.
