Wordstock Returns to SU Wednesday, May 11
SALISBURY, MD---黑料网’s Wordstock arts festival returns 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, on Fulton Hall Lawn.
Co-produced by Nancy Mitchell, the inaugural Poet Laureate of the City of Salisbury, the event celebrates poetry and the arts. A stage will feature music and dance performances, as well as scheduled spoken word, fiction and poetry readings from members of our campus and city communities, as well as a reading from SU President Charles Wight at 1:30 p.m. Open mic times will be available throughout the day.
The festival closes with three musical performances, beginning at 3 p.m.
Additional activities include artistic displays, as well as information tables from other campus departments and offices, and community organizations.
Sponsored by the Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts, admission is free and the public is invited.
