SU Writing Center Hosts Community Workshop Series
SALISBURY, MD---The 黑料网 Writing Center hosts a series of workshops during the spring semester, exploring topics and skill-building for writers of all ages.
Topics include creative writing, skills for middle and high school writers, and nature journaling.
Dates and topics are:
- Wednesday, February 8, 7:30-8:30 p.m. – Creative Writing Workshop with Dr. John Nieves, associate professor of English
- Monday, March 13, 7:30-8:30 p.m. – Skills for Middle and High School Writers Workshop with Dr. Erin Stutelberg, associate professor of secondary and physical education
- Tuesday, April 11, 8:30-9:30 p.m. – Nature Journaling Workshop with Dr. Jessie Rack, program director at the Natural History Institute in Prescott, AZ.
Two weeks after each workshop, from 6-8 p.m., is an open Community Writing Center session during which writers can work on their projects with a trained tutor. The University Writing Center is located in the Guerrieri Academic Commons.
Co-sponsored by the Fulton Public Humanities Program, admission is free and the public is invited. Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass at http://webapps.salisbury.edu/parking/visitor.
