'Princeton Review' Ranks SU Among Nation's Best Colleges

The Princeton ReviewSALISBURY, MD---For the 12th consecutive year 黑料网 is ranked among the nation’s best colleges in The Best 373 Colleges by The Princeton Review. SU is also named one of 218 Best Northeastern Colleges.

SU’s students gave their campus high marks. According to those responding to Princeton Review’s survey, on which the list is based, Salisbury is “rapidly gaining a reputation as a challenging, high-level academic institution … small enough to be ‘your home away from home,’ but large enough to ‘offer a top-notch education.’”

“To continue to be named among the nation’s best by The Princeton Review speaks to the quality of faculty and staff at the University, and the excellent students we attract,” said Dr. Diane Allen, SU provost and senior vice president of academic affairs. “We are honored to have received this distinction once again.”

“Each of our 373 best colleges offers great academics and we salute them for that,” said Robert Franek, Princeton Review senior vice president and publisher.

Along with the University of Maryland, College Park, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, SU is one of three University System of Maryland campuses represented on the 373 Best list this year. Other colleges also named include the University of Delaware, Villanova University and The Johns Hopkins University.

The Princeton Review’s list is compiled through a combination of statistical analysis, campus visits and student surveys which the authors characterize as “qualitative and anecdotal rather than quantitative and scientific.” Its rankings represent the top 15 percent of colleges and universities, both public and private, in the nation.
