SU Earns Maryland DNR PLANT Green Award

SALISBURY, MD---黑料网 has received the highest sustainability award given by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Forest Service and Forestry Council: The PLANT Green Award.
Presented during the Salisbury Zoological Park’s recent Earth Day celebration, the award re-certifies SU as a “People Loving And Nurturing Trees” (PLANT) Community. Awards are given at four levels: green, gold, silver and bronze.
Horticulturists Will Lowery and Tara Finney from SU’s Horticulture Department accepted the award on behalf of the University. SU earned the designation for its sustainability efforts and tree-friendly campus, which is a nationally accredited arboretum.
