SU Honors College Hosts Easter Egg Hunt March 31

Holloway HallSALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Easter egg hunt traditionally held downtown will be hosted this year by the 黑料网 Honors College on Holloway Hall Lawn.

The egg hunt was first organized by the Salisbury Arts & Entertainment District. The Honors College hopes the move to campus will provide additional room to serve the 1,500-2,000 children and families the event has attracted in recent years.

This year’s hunt is scheduled 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, March 31. Parking is available at SU’s Blackwell and Commons parking lots on Camden Avenue; Lot H behind Holloway Hall; Route 13 parking lots near Conway and Perdue halls and the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons; Guerrieri Student Union lot on Dogwood Drive; and parking garage on Wayne Street.

The event is open for children through age 12. Check-in begins at 10:45 a.m. Egg hunts will be separated by age group (birth-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12). A separate egg hunt will be held for children with special needs.

The event includes games and activities provided by SU student organizations, as well as visits with the Easter Bunny, fire engine tours courtesy of the Salisbury Fire Department, and some 40,000 candy-filled eggs.

Sponsored by the SU Student Government Association; Pedar B. Didriksen, D.D.S.; Pohanka of Salisbury; and Your Doc’s In, admission is free and the public is invited. To register, or for more information, visit the event website at www.SBYegghunt.com.
