Important Information Regarding COVID-19 Testing

Members of the SU Community,
COVID-19 testing continues at SU for the remainder of the fall semester. Please note the following:
- Today’s testing remains in Maggs Physical Activities Center.
- Please enter through the gymnasium entrance facing Devilbiss Hall.
- Do not use the main entrance to Maggs.
- Beginning Monday, December 7, and continuing through the remainder of the fall semester, COVID-19 testing will take place in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.
- Entry will be through the room’s rear entrance, looking out onto Holloway Hall Lawn.
- Do not use the main entrance to Holloway Hall.
- As a reminder, the University requires all students, faculty and staff returning to campus after Thanksgiving to have an SU-administered COVID-19 test taken no earlier than December 1, with a negative result, on file with Campus Health.
- Those who have not fulfilled this testing requirement by the end of today will lose access to ALL SU buildings beginning Monday.
- This includes academic buildings, residence halls, recreational facilities, the Commons, and individual rooms and offices.
- Those who missed their assigned testing times may report to Maggs for testing today.
- Be prepared to show your Calendly confirmation for your original appointment.
- Please note that this is a special exception, and similar accommodates for missed appointments may not be made in the future.
- Students unable to test on campus by today due to at-home isolation or quarantine will be exempt from this week’s testing requirement and should follow instructions from Campus Health regarding future testing.
- Students living on campus who do not plan to return to SU until next week:
- Must provide a COVID-19 test with a negative result, taken in December, to Campus Health at CampusHealth@salisbury.edu for temporary access to campus buildings.
- Must sign up for and attend the next available SU-administered COVID-19 test at to maintain access (please look for an immediate email confirmation once registered).
- Testing dates are available on the SU COVID-19 webpage.
- Students living off campus who do not plan to return to SU until next week will not have access to SU buildings until:
- Providing an off-campus test with a negative result, taken in December, to CampusHealth@salisbury.edu (for temporary access) or
- Signing up for and attending the next available SU-administered COVID-19 test at (for access for the remainder of the semester once a negative result is reported).
