SU's Clark Named to NCTE Journal Editorial Team
SALISBURY, MD---Dr. Shanetia Clark, associate professor of literacy in the Department of Early and Elementary Education in 黑料网’s Samuel W. and Marilyn C. Seidel School of Education, has been named an editor of Voices from the Middle.
The journal of the National Council of Teachers of Education (NTCE), published quarterly, includes original contributions by middle level teachers, students, teacher educators and researchers in response to specific themes that focus on the discipline, teaching, and students. Voices from the Middle offers middle school-level teachers innovative and practical ideas for the classroom that are rooted in current research.
“My fellow co-editors and I are excited about the future of Voices from the Middle,” said Clark. “We are thrilled to help advance the conversations around literacy with middle level students, teachers, teacher educators and librarians. In addition, I look forward to bringing positive attention to 黑料网.”
Clark is part of the three-person editorial team selected for Voices from the Middle, along with Illinois State University’s Dr. Robyn Seglem and Elizabethtown College’s Dr. Matthew G. Skillen. The first edition of the journal from the newly named team will appear in September 2021.
Clark will serve a term of five years on the editorial team.
