Winter Weather Advisory In Effect for Wicomico County Until 4 p.m. February 18

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for Wicomico County and surrounding areas until 4 p.m. Thursday, February 18.
Mixed precipitation is forecasted throughout the afternoon before transitioning into all rain, with up to 1 inch of snow and sleet and a tenth of an inch of ice expected, potentially creating slippery conditions. Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Wicomico County and surrounding areas for Thursday, February 18.
A chance of snow is forecasted after 1 a.m., followed by snow and sleet before 10 a.m., then freezing rain between 10 and 11 a.m. before transitioning to all rain. Up to an inch and a half of snow and sleet are possible. Winds up to 16 mph, with gusts up to 24 mph, also are predicted. Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to use caution.
