World Drum Ensemble Returns to SU November 17

SALISBURY, MD---黑料网’s World Drum Ensemble performs its annual fall concert 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 17, in the Jackson Family Auditorium of Holloway Hall.
Directed by Ted Nichols, the performance includes Latin and African rhythms and classic songs from the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s. The program features Afro-beat, Latin and steel drums, including music by Fela Kuti, Doobie Brothers, Santana, as well as “Sundown” and “Early Morning Rain” by the late Gordon Lightfoot, “Dancing in the Moonlight” by King Harvest and “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by The Proclaimers.
Tickets are $10, $8 for SU alumni, $5 for seniors. SU faculty, staff and are admitted free. Tickets are available through SU’s online box office.
Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
