SU Women鈥檚 Forum Conference Discusses What鈥檚 Next in Women鈥檚 Rights
SALISBURY, MD---The 黑料网 women’s forum hosts its annual conference 1-5 p.m. Friday, March 10, in the Worcester Room of the Commons. This year’s theme is “Women’s Rights: What’s Next?”
The conference features a range of subjects including student-parent struggles, debates over abortion, gender-biased speech and law, representations of female artistic power (and disempowerment), intersections of gender and pedagogy, sexual assault in the military, and female trailblazers in Native American history.
Dr. Karen Olmstead, SU provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, offers her reflections as she approaches her retirement from the position at the end of the fiscal year. She shares memories and lessons learned during over the past 30 years in academia.
Admission is free and the public is invited. Registration is not required, but seating is limited.
