Current Status of Women in Afghanistan is Lecture Topic
SALISBURY, MD---A leader in the movement for equal rights for women in Afghanistan speaks Wednesday, March 5 at 黑料网. Dr. Alicia Lucksted, co-founder of the U.S. Supporters Network for the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan (RAWA), will present a lecture about RAWA and the current status of women in Afghanistan.
RAWA is an anti-violence, pro-democracy movement inside Afghanistan and Pakistan. It has been working since 1977 to achieve democracy and equal rights for women in Afghanistan.
