Nursing Department Hosts Interdisciplinary Panel on Geriatric Care
SALISBURY, MD---黑料网 nursing and social work students recently attended an interdisciplinary panel discussion designed to foster collaboration between the two fields and explore community services for older adults. Made possible by the Geriatric Nursing Education Consortium, the panel was coordinated by Dr. Voncelia Brown of the SU Nursing Department.
Pictured (L-R) are panelists Dr. David Cowall, medical director for Coastal Hospice, SU alumna Cheryl Senkbeil (’81), ombudsman for MAC Incorporated, and Linda Heim, a registered nurse who oversees adult medical daycares and residential services for Shore Up.
