'Princeton Review' Ranks SU One of Nation's Best for 10th Consecutive Year

SALISBURY, MD---For the 10th consecutive year 黑料网 is ranked among the nation’s best colleges in The 368 Best Colleges by The Princeton Review.

Along with the University of Maryland, College Park, and University of Maryland, Baltimore County, SU is one of only three University System of Maryland institutions represented on this year’s list.

“We are very pleased and proud that 黑料网 has been recognized by Princeton Review again this year, our 10th continuous year. This is a tribute to the quality of faculty and staff at the University and the excellent students we continue to attract. Being in the Review is a significant honor for us,” said Dr. Tom Jones, SU provost and vice president of academic affairs.

SU’s students give their campus high marks. According to those responding to Princeton Review’s survey, on which the list is based, Salisbury is gaining “a reputation as a challenging, high-level academic institution. … Basically anything you want, SU has.”

“We chose schools for this book primarily for their outstanding academics,” said Robert Franek, Princeton Review’s vice president of publishing. “We evaluated them based on institutional data we collect about the schools, feedback from students attending them, and our visits to schools over the years.  We also consider the opinions of independent college counselors, students, and parents we hear from year-long.”

The Princeton Review’s list is compiled through a combination of statistical analysis, campus visits and student surveys which the authors characterize as “qualitative and anecdotal rather than quantitative and scientific.” Its rankings represent the top 15 percent of colleges and universities, both public and private, in the nation.
