SSO Previews Fall Children's Concert

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Symphony Orchestra previews its Fall 2009 Children’s Concert “The Composer Is Dead” on Saturday, October 3, at the Wicomico Public Library.  The reading is 11 a.m. in the Children’s Program Room of the main branch.

Based on a story written by famed San Francisco author Lemony Snicket and music composed by Nathaniel Stookey, “The Composer Is Dead” offers an innovative and unique introduction to the orchestra.  A humorous murder mystery, it is entertaining for both young listeners and seasoned concertgoers.

The Salisbury Symphony Orchestra’s full performance of “The Composer Is Dead” is 3 p.m. Saturday, October 17, in Holloway Hall Auditorium at 黑料网.  The concert is made possible through the support of Dr. James M. Crouse, D.D.S., P.A., and the SU Alumni Association, Delmarva Chapter.  Available at the door, tickets are $10 for adults and free for children under 12 accompanied by an adult.
