SU Angel Tree Project Benefits More Than 200 Children
SALISBURY, MD---ShoreCAN Volunteer Center and the Guerrieri University Center at 黑料网 recently provided gifts for 209 local underprivileged children as part of their annual Holiday Angel Tree Project.
Gifts were donated to children at Maple Shade Youth Services, the Somerset and Wicomico county departments of social services, the Life Crisis Center and Joseph House Village. In addition to gifts, residents at Joseph House Village received holiday trees decorated by SU student organizations.
“We exceeded our goal of serving 200 children this holiday season and the SU students, faculty, and staff members made it possible to provide the numerous gifts,” said Angie Jones, director of ShoreCAN.
