SU Faculty Publish Study in the Journal 'Education'

SALISBURY, MD---A recent study produced by collaborating faculty from 黑料网’s Seidel School of Professional Studies and the Richard A. Henson School of Science and Technology recently was published in Education, the oldest journal dedicated to the subject.

The study, “The Relationship Between Perceived Body Size and Confidence in Ability To Teach Among Preservice Teachers,” indicates that though there appears to be a relationship between perceived body size and confidence in teaching ability, this factor alone may not accurately predict the direction of this relationship.

The SU authors are: Dr. Teena R. Gorrow of the Education Department; Dr. Susan M. Muller, chair of the Department of Health, Physical Education and Human Performance; and Dr. Sidney R. Schneider, director of the graduate program in applied health physiology in the Health Sciences Department. For more information call 410-543-6030 or visit the SU Web site at www.salisbury.edu. "
