Salisbury Chorale Presents 'A Seasonal Celebration' Nov. 15

class=""MsoNormal"">SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury Chorale celebrates the holidays early with “A Cantata Seasonal Celebration” 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.

class=""MsoNormal"">Instrumentalists from the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra join the 40-member chorale to present Christmas Cantata (Sinfonia Sacra) by Daniel Pinkham for brass choir and organ, Rejoice in the Lamb (Festival Cantata) by Benjamin Britten with organ, and Canite Tuba (Christmas Triptych) by Donald McCullough with brass, percussion and organ.

class=""MsoNormal"">Susan Zimmer is the chorale’s rehearsal pianist and organist. Conducted by Dr. William M. Folger of the SU Department of Music, the chorale consists of both SU and community members. Soloists are soprano June Barlage, altos Nancy Coleman Mace and Joana Weaver, tenor Edgar Isaacs and bass John Allen. Sponsored by the Department of Music, the public is invited.
