Spring Writers on the Shore Series Returns March 1
SALISBURY, MD---Award-winning author Melinda Moustakis inaugurates this spring’s Writers on the Shore literary series at 黑料网, reading from her works 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, in the Worcester Room of the Commons.
Moustakis is the author of Bear Down, Bear North: Alaska Stories, winner of the Flannery O’Connor Award and a “5 under 35” selection by the National Book Foundation.
Her work has appeared in American Short Fiction, Alaska Quarterly Review, Granta, Kenyon Review and New England Review, among others. Her story “They Find the Drowned” won a PEN/O. Henry Prize. She is the recipient of a Hodder Fellowship from The Lewis Center of the Arts at Princeton University, a National Endowment of the Arts Literature Fellowship in Fiction and a Kenyon Review Fellowship at Kenyon College.
Moustakis currently is the Jenny McKean Moore Writer-in-Residence at George Washington University.
